Congratulations, you have successfully completed an auction on DPX. A winning bid has been accepted. Now what?

Creating the Contract

DPX will generate and send all involved parties a Memorandum of Understanding with the contract price and pre-negotiated terms.

If you are in a jurisdictions that use real estate attorneys for the closing, simply send the Memorandum of Understanding to your real estate attorneys for drafting of the Agreement.

If you are in a jurisdiction that uses title & escrow companies, then use the Memorandum of Understanding terms sheet to create a contract using the standard forms in your area. Once fully signed around, send the contract including the DPX addendum to your title & escrow company as normal.

Financing Due Diligence Period

In some markets, there is an automatic 1 business day Financing Due Diligence period after a winning bid is determined to allow the Listing Agent to confirm that the Buyer's financing is still valid.
